ABOUT ME
Stephanie Delaney
I am a fully Accredited Member of the Irish Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (IACP - www.iacp.ie), working therapeutically with individuals over the age of 18 years, since 2017. I
Previous to my professional role as a Counsellor & Psychotherapist, I have over a decade of experience employed in palliative healthcare, including various care settings with children, which was both fulfilling and rewarding as working closely with vulnerable people is where my strengths lay. I also worked in the area of support for LGBTQ+ service users in the voluntary organisation called Gay Switchboard Ireland (now known as The Switchboard) from 2012 to 2015, which included a committee role as Training Coordinator for current and new volunteers. My experience in both my professional roles and the voluntary sector inspired me towards the path of pursuing a qualification in Counselling and Psychotherapy. I also provide Wellness Coaching in a corporate environment.
