I currently hold a Diploma in Counselling and Psychotherapy from PCI College (www.pcicollege.ie), having worked therapeutically with clients since 2017. I am an Accredited Member with the Irish Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (IACP - www.iacp.ie).
Previous to my professional role as a Counsellor & Psychotherapist, I have over a decade experience employed in Palliative Healthcare, as well as six years experience employed in Childcare roles, which was both fulfilling and rewarding as working closely with vulnerable people is where my strengths lay. I also worked in the area of support for LGBTQ+ service users in the voluntary organisation called Gay Switchboard Ireland from 2012 to 2015, which included a committee role as Training Coordinator for current and new volunteers. My experience in both my professional roles and the voluntary sector inspired me towards the path of pursuing a qualification in Counselling and Psychotherapy.
I am committed to providing a professional, therapeutic environment that values diversity of culture, beliefs, gender and sexuality.
